Pike County Young Republicans
The Future of Our County, Our Commonwealth, and Our Country
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Chairman - Zachary Pearce
Vice Chair – Jessica A. Decker
Secretary – Susan Jaczko
Treasurer – Hannah Skyler
Immediate Past Chairman – Christopher P. Decker
The Pike County Young Republicans (PCYR) reach out to Republicans between the ages of 18 and 40 and get young voters more involved in the politcal process. The PCYR is a chapter of the Pennsylvania Federation of Young Republicans and the National Federation of Young Republicans.
The PCYR was formed in 2009 by a dedicated group of young Republicans in Pike County. The organization quickly became an important organization in Pike County politics by organizing the 2009 GOTV efforts for the statewide Republican judicial candidates and hosted the very well attended 2010 Lincoln Day Dinner at which Pat Toomey was the keynote speaker. In addition, in 2010 members of the PCYR helped to manage the Pike County Republican Headquarters and played important roles in GOTV efforts and Election Day activities that helped every Republican candidate in Pike County win by large margins.
The PCYR continues to grow with Zachary Pearce as the new Chairman after the Immediate Past Chairman, Christopher Decker, became the Chairman of the Pike County Republican Committee. Zach has been involved in Pike County politics for many years and was the Chairman of the Pike for McCain Campaign in 2008. He is currently a Political Science major in college.
